Poster Abstract Submission Instructions

The Powell Center for Women's Health cordially invites you to submit a poster abstract (450 word limit) on any topic related to women’s health including, but not limited to:

-Cardiovascular Health
-Community-Based Research
-Obstetrics & Gynecology
-Sexual and Reproductive Health
-Disability Prevention
-Caregiving Issues
-Mental Health
-Fall Prevention
-Sex/gender differences


WORD LIMIT: 450 words

RESEARCH PROJECTS: background/significance of topic; purpose of project; methods; results; and discussion of strengths/weaknesses of approach and policy, program and/or practice implications of findings.

PROGRAM OR POLICY DESCRIPTIONS: background/significance of topic addressed by program or policy; description of program or policy; evaluation of program or policy effectiveness; and future implications of program or policy.

SYNTHESIS OF LITERATURE: background/significance of topic; methods to review literature; results; and research, program and/or practice implications of findings.
