Internship Program

One of the goals of the Powell Center is support student involvement in women's health issues.  We are able to do this by connecting students with women’s health internships within the University and with community organizations.

For internships with community organizations, community organizations submit project proposals and we post opportunities on our website.  Students can then contact the organization directly to apply.

For internships through the Powell Center, University faculty and staff (who are members of the Powell Center) submit project proposals, often related to research in women’s health. Students submit applications directly to the Powell Center when opportunities are posted.  The Powell Center will then contact faculty/staff with qualified applicants.

For more information about these opportunities and to check current available projects, please click on the links on the right.
